SUMMARY:CyberSecurity Synchronous Courses - CYBERPROTRAIN
DESCRIPTION:The CyberPro Train project\, funded under the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL)\, addresses the critical cybersecurity skills shortage in the European Union by developing an innovative\, scalable education and training model tailored for professionals in SMEs and public administrations.\n\nIt aims to bridge the cybersecurity skills gap through specialized training programs that combine both theoretical and practical knowledge\, in alignment with the EU’s Digital Europe Programme objectives. The project supports key EU cybersecurity directives\, such as the NIS2 Directive and Cyber Resilience Act\, and is designed to prepare a new generation of cybersecurity professionals to protect critical infrastructures and respond effectively to cybersecurity threats.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWP3\, led by TIM\, focuses on the development and delivery of training courses in cybersecurity across three EU countries: Italy\, Spain\, and Greece. The primary objectives include planning and implementing both synchronous and asynchronous courses\, defining certification standards\, and managing the course delivery platform. \nThe most important activities involve the detailed planning of synchronous courses\, ensuring the involvement of experienced trainers\, and customizing the online learning environment to support diverse course formats. Additionally\, the WP emphasizes the translation of training materials and courses into ten EU languages to enhance accessibility. DESCRIPTION:Together with Aegean College we are hosting an open event dedicated to exploring the ethical challenges and emerging opportunities shaping the future of work. The event is part of the European project “Transform the Future of Human Workforce!”\, which focuses on understanding how technology\, digitalisation\, and AI are reshaping the labour market and what this means for workers\, educators\, and employers. \nThe session will begin with a welcome and a short presentation of both organisations\, followed by an introduction to the TRANSFORM project and its key findings so far.
