Everyone has the right to timely and tailored assistance to improve the prospects of employment or self-employment. This includes the right to receive support for job search, training, and retraining” (EU Pillar of Social Rights). These principles are at the core of the present project proposal whose long-term objective is to facilitate the socio-occupational integration of vulnerable women. The reduction of the number of persons at risk of social exclusion (thus also at risk of poverty that is one of the main reasons for social exclusion) in the EU is one of the key targets of the Europe 2020 strategy. The younger the women, and the lower the education level, the worse was the unemployment rate. Increasingly, women are the most vulnerable group for mental illnesses like anxiety, depression, eating disorders, panic problems, in fact they are 2 times more likely than men to have mental health problems (WHO). GREEN HEALTH takes into consideration the needs of socio-economic inclusion of vulnerable people, the necessities of adult educators, as well as the environmental challenges of the present day, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. The methodologies intertwine ecological education and environmental awareness, with the transferral of skills for better employability, eco-approach and therapeutic path.

Innovation Hive will be participating in all project results and dissemination activities. Also, our organization will lead the PR4 – Learner’s Gaming Space, the second short joint staff training event on Creative Design Thinking and Healing Garden and health and the training session on Gaming during the third short joint staff training event.

The Green Health project aim to support the empowerment and the acquisition of competences of vulnerable women and facilitate tailored learning opportunities. In addition, its goal is to increase the competences and the tools of adult educators for vulnerable women’ competences acquisition and integration and facilitate adult educators understanding of the intersectionality between eco-approach / health / acquisition of competences and therapy. Finally, Green Health will enhance the offer of educational tools and pathways promoting women suffering severe vulnerabilities learning and rehabilitation and contribute to EU awareness in terms of intersectionality between environment and Health, Sustainability and dialogue on mental health and social exclusion among women.
