SAGE
The SAGE Initiative (Social and Green Entrepreneurship network for youth) is a two-year Erasmus+ project that aims to empower young people—especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds—to become successful social and green entrepreneurs. Through a combination of non-formal learning methods, mentorship, and innovative digital tools, the project fosters practical skills aligned with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. By creating inclusive learning pathways, an interactive e-toolkit, and Youth Impact Hubs, SAGE supports young individuals in building sustainable businesses that address social and environmental challenges while enhancing youth employability and civic engagement across Europe
Impact
SAGE will empower young people—particularly those from vulnerable backgrounds—with the skills, tools, and confidence to become social and green entrepreneurs. By fostering inclusive education, mentorship, and sustainable innovation, the project will enhance youth employability, reduce social exclusion, and contribute to a more resilient and socially responsible economy. Additionally, the project will strengthen the capacity of youth workers and organizations, creating long-lasting networks and resources that support continued impact beyond the project’s duration.
Our Role
As a key partner in the SAGE project, Innovation Hive leads Work Package 3 – SAGE e-toolkit, where it is responsible for developing the project’s central digital platform and interactive learning resources. Drawing on its expertise in business and social innovation, non-formal education, and youth empowerment, Innovation Hive also contributes to co-designing learning pathways (WP2) and supporting capacity-building efforts through mentorship and youth hubs (WP4). Additionally, it hosts the second transnational partner meeting in Greece and ensures the integration of inclusive, tech-enabled solutions throughout the project.
