TRANSFORM
The project aims to shape the future of the human workforce by exploring key factors essential for its development. Driven by rapid advancements in technology—such as automation, AI, and robotics—industries are undergoing transformation, resulting in new job roles and opportunities that were previously unimaginable. These shifts in the labor force demand a parallel evolution in the skills, competencies, and capacities of workers, requiring adaptations in how we prepare individuals for active roles in a changing market. Moreover, it is essential to focus on reshaping workplace dynamics and enhancing workforce well-being, particularly as labor shortages make this an increasingly urgent priority. Taking a comprehensive approach to these interconnected issues is crucial to maintaining the global competitiveness of EU countries and contributing to the necessary transformation of the labor market. This project aligns with the objectives of the CERV CIV call by fostering democratic engagement among diverse groups, including employees, employers, HR specialists, organizational leaders, policymakers, youth, NGOs, and other relevant labor market stakeholders. By involving them in meaningful discussions about workforce development, the project encourages their participation in policy-making, fostering an exchange of perspectives and supporting the collaborative shaping of Europe’s future. Through this engagement, participants gain greater awareness of their rights and insights into EU policies, while sharing valuable lessons and best practices to address current and future labor market challenges.a
Impact
The “Future of the Workforce” project engages a wide range of stakeholders—citizens, employers, HR experts, employees, NGOs, and youth—to address evolving labor market dynamics. By facilitating inclusive discussions and collaboration, the project aims to capture diverse perspectives and foster informed policy-making. Short-term outcomes include international dialogues and societal engagement, while medium-term effects will strengthen EU partnerships and improve workforce strategies. Long-term, the project aims to create a more inclusive, adaptable workforce with sustainable practices, supporting productivity, social cohesion, and well-being. The project promotes equality, ensuring all voices are valued in shaping a resilient future labor market.
