Mentor with Polish Language Skills Wanted for the ESF Project “ALMA” (Project number: FEPK.07.05-IP.01-0001/24)
🔹 About the ALMA Program
ALMA (Aim, Learn, Master, Achieve) is a new initiative funded by the European Social Fund+ (ESF+), aimed at young people aged 18–29 who are Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEETs). The program offers a short-term experience of living and working abroad, helping participants develop skills, build self-confidence, and reintegrate into the labor market or further education.
We are looking for a mentor with fluent Polish language skills to support Polish-speaking participants who will be hosted in Larissa, Greece as part of the program.
📍 Location: Larissa, Greece
📅 Contract Duration: 2 months per hosted group
💼 Type of Employment: Temporary
💰 Salary provided
🔸 The mentor’s presence will be most required during the initial weeks, to welcome and guide participants regarding accommodation, work placement, and orientation in the city.
🔸 For the remainder of the 2-month period, support will be mainly remote or by phone.
🔸 There is potential for contract extension, as up to 3 groups per year may be hosted.
Requirements
- Fluency in Polish
- Good knowledge of Greek and/or English
Responsibilities
- Provide language and moral support to participants
- Welcome and assist them upon arrival
- Help with orientation regarding housing, work, and mobility
- Be available by phone 24/7 for emergencies
