The Erasmus+ GREENLEAD project officially launched with a successful kick-off meeting in Teruel, Spain, bringing together international partners committed to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their green transition.

✅ Defining the “Green Leader” professional profile – outlining the competencies and responsibilities needed to drive sustainability in SMEs.
✅ Research on SMEs’ sustainability practices – conducting desk and field research to assess current skills, tools, and gaps in green transition efforts.
✅ Dissemination and outreach – launching the official project website, social media channels, and planning engagement activities.
✅ The Green Handbook – providing guidelines to integrate sustainable practices into business operations.
In the 2nd day of the meeting the hosts organized a study visit in CITA (Rural Bioeconomy Innovation Centre) in Teruel which has as main purpose is to facilitate and promote bioeconomy and circular economy research and innovation projects in the agri-food, forestry and environmental sectors. A very interesting territorial experience in line with Greenlead project’s objectives.
