The Regulation (EU) N°910/2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market (eIDAS Regulation) was adopted by the co-legislators on 23 July 2014 and is a milestone to provide a predictable regulatory environment to enable secure and seamless electronic interactions between businesses, citizens and public authorities.

The aim of the project is to collect feedback on drivers and barriers to the development and uptake of eID and trust services in Europe and on the impacts of the options for delivering an EU digital identity.
Support during the data mapping activities and in the preparation of the final reporting. Particularly, Innovation Hive conducted desk research and interviewes aiming to gather all the necessary information in order to compose and present a Cost Benefit Analysis(CBA) of the efficiency of the regulation.
