His main research interests are focusing on studies regarding new innovative educational methods, education in minorities and vulnerable groups for social inclusion and education through cultural activities for social cohesion.

Yiannis has made significant contributions to the academic community, presenting at prestigious international events such as the 6th and 8th International Weeks dedicated to maths. He is actively engaged in various EU programs, including Erasmus+, CERV, AMIF, and Horizon Europe, where he serves as a trainer, focusing on the development of entrepreneurial, digital, and green skills.
Certified as an Adult Educator, Yiannis brings a wealth of experience to the table, extending beyond academia. His expertise in networking and project management is evident in his involvement in EU-funded projects, where he plays a crucial role in shaping the educational landscape.
