Innovation Hive is proud to participate in the European Youth Policy Collaboration Network (EYPCN), a new European-level initiative designed to strengthen cooperation among youth organisations and enhance the participation of young people in European policies and programmes.
The network is coordinated by Youth on Board (North Macedonia) and brings together organisations from across Europe that share a common vision: to empower young people, improve the quality of youth work, and ensure that European opportunities are accessible to all.
Today, many young people across Europe still face barriers when trying to access programmes such as Erasmus+, youth initiatives, and other opportunities linked to the EU Youth Strategy. These challenges are even more evident for young people living in rural areas or belonging to groups with fewer opportunities. Limited access to information, resources, and networks can make it difficult for them to participate fully in European programmes and policy processes.
The European Youth Policy Collaboration Network aims to address these challenges by creating a collaborative platform where youth organisations can share knowledge, develop new initiatives, and support young people in becoming active participants in European society.
At its core, the network seeks to function as a skills hub for youth organisations and a learning platform for young people. Through joint activities, training initiatives, and knowledge exchange, EYPCN will promote innovative approaches to non-formal education and youth development.
Another important objective of the network is to bring young people closer to European programmes and policies, particularly Erasmus+ and the EU Youth Strategy. By increasing awareness and providing practical tools for participation, the network will help youth organisations engage more effectively with European initiatives.
Innovation Hive’s participation in EYPCN reinforces its commitment to supporting youth empowerment, education, and social innovation. With extensive experience in European projects and youth-focused initiatives, Innovation Hive contributes to the network through knowledge sharing, project development, and the implementation of activities that support young people at local, national, and European levels.
The collaboration will also focus on organising capacity-building activities, networking events, and joint initiatives that strengthen the role of youth organisations and promote active citizenship among young people.
Through the European Youth Policy Collaboration Network, Innovation Hive continues to expand its international partnerships and contribute to building a stronger and more inclusive youth ecosystem across Europe.
