We are delighted to announce the completion of two key deliverables under the Ready4School project, the School Readiness Skills Assessment Tool (Booklet) and the brand-new School Readiness Skills Assessment App!
These innovative tools are designed to support preschool teachers, parents, caregivers, and professionals working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them assess and strengthen the skills children need for a successful transition to primary school.
- School Readiness Skills Assessment Tool (Booklet)
The Ready4School Assessment Tool is a comprehensive guide that helps teachers and caregivers identify children’s strengths and areas where extra support may be needed to develop crucial foundational, social, and self-regulation skills.
A successful transition to the school environment depends on these key developmental abilities, and the tool provides a structured, evidence-based approach to assessing and promoting them.

We are also proud to introduce the Ready4School App, now available for both Android and iOS!
Through strong collaboration among project partners, the Assessment Tool has been fully digitalized, making it more accessible, efficient, and interactive for educators and families alike.
The Ready4School App allows users to:
- Evaluate a child’s school readiness skills
- Record and track developmental progress
- Identify strengths and areas for improvement
- Support the planning of personalized learning strategies
Designed with accessibility and inclusivity in mind, the App empowers teachers and caregivers to provide targeted support for children with ASD.

Both App and Tool have been tested during the training activity in North Macedonia, where more than 18 professionals explored their functionality, provided feedback, and suggested improvements to ensure maximum effectiveness and user-friendliness.
At the same time, national versions of both the Tool and the App have been developed in Czech, Croatian, Greek, Macedonian, and Ukrainian, expanding access and impact across partner countries.
