Mental empowerment of young people in the post-Covid era

March 27 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

The COVID-19 pandemic has left profound marks on the mental health of young people worldwide. Feelings of anxiety, uncertainty, and disappointment have been prevalent among this demographic during these challenging times. According to the Sciensano Public Health Foundation in Belgium, individuals aged 18-24 have experienced the highest levels of anxiety and depressive symptoms. It is imperative to recognize and address these challenges faced by young people and provide them with appropriate support.

During our upcoming event, we will extensively examine the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health of young individuals. We will explore how the pandemic has reshaped their daily lives and discuss strategies to better support them during this challenging period. From identifying symptoms to implementing techniques for managing anxiety and depression, we will delve into every aspect concerning the mental well-being of young people.

Additionally, we will introduce our project, YouHeal, which offers an innovative approach to improving the mental health of young individuals. Through the YouHeal Web App, we provide multidimensional support that enhances psychological resilience. Moreover, with the YouHeal E-TEXTBOOK, we offer educational materials for fostering a positive mindset and stress management. Through these initiatives, we aim to create an environment that promotes mental well-being and self-awareness. Learn more about the YouHeal project with one click: You Heal
