Innovation Hive is excited to announce the launch of an Entrepreneurship Contest, which is part of the “YERAME” project that aims to improve the entrepreneurial skills of young people in rural areas of the Mediterranean and to promote the creation of sustainable businesses that can therefore tackle the depopulation those areas are suffering.
The YERAME Entrepreneurship Contest is designed to:
- Give 10 young people the opportunity to present their business ideas and initiatives before an experienced jury of experts in the field and receive valuable feedback and advice.
- Provide the opportunity for 3 young people to win a financial prize to support their business initiatives, with prizes amounting to €1,000, €600 and €300 respectively.
- Improve participants’ elevator pitch and skills in presenting their ideas.
- Provides networks of cooperation between stakeholders and young entrepreneurs.
- Highlight the importance of supporting youth entrepreneurship in rural areas, helping to prevent the depopulation of these areas.
To participate in the contest, interested parties must meet the following criteria:
– be aged between 18 and 34 years old.
– They must have an innovative business idea aimed at the sustainable development of rural areas.

The deadline for applications is 20 JUNE 2024.
