However, this rapid growth in the blockchain market has presented a unique challenge for Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions, where keeping up with the demand for a skilled workforce has become paramount.
The BCH4VET Project is set to bridge the skills gap and equip teachers and students with essential digital expertise needed for the blockchain era. The project, a collaborative effort involving Higher Education institutions, VET schools, NGOs, and SMEs, is set to revolutionize VET in the context of blockchain technology and contribute to the EU’s Digital Education Action Plan. Central to the project’s vision is the development of a comprehensive Blockchain Framework and Modular VET Program. This is designed to be adaptable and updatable, ensuring that VET institutions remain current with the rapidly evolving blockchain landscape. Students will delve into the world of blockchain technology, gaining a deep understanding of its applications across various industries, setting them up for success in the workforce. To ensure optimal learning outcomes, the BCH4VET Project has also incorporated an AI-powered Assessment Platform. Recognizing the significance of interactive and enjoyable learning, the project integrates a Gamification-based e-learning Platform. By gamifying the learning experience with rewards, challenges, and competitions, students’ motivation and enjoyment while studying blockchain technology are significantly increased. This approach fosters a sense of accomplishment and fun, making the learning process more effective and enjoyable.
Aligned with the EU’s Digital Education Action Plan and the DigCompEdu Framework, the BCH4VET Project ensures that educators and students are well-equipped to embrace the challenges of the blockchain era.
